WINTER 2024 PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT FOR TEACHERS AT THE FFA MEMBER IGNITE CONFERENCE

While students are in their leadership program, the Teacher Professional Development program at each FFA Ignite Conference location will provide teachers with the opportunity to experience tools that will enhance their skills to Connect, Empower, and Lead students to foster emotional literacy and a stronger classroom culture. Each participating teacher will receive engaging tools to use with their own students that can add an exciting twist to the learning experience and provide endless opportunities for play-based learning and interactive fun.  (3 CTE hours will be granted to each completer)

The Global Teach Ag Network Community (GTAN) is an innovative professional development space to synergize diverse educator audiences around global agriculture and food security.  Interested in connecting with other educators about Global Issues?  NYAAE is a global learning partner with the Global Teach Ag Network at Penn State. This professional development series will allow educators to earn up to 4 hours of CTLE credit from the comfort of their own classrooms.

New York Association of Agricultural Educators annual conference that provides teachers with the opportunity for premier experiential workshops, and engagement with their peers.

NYAAE MENTORING

2022-2023 marks the sixth year of our mentoring program.  The goal of this initiative is to support and retain new and existing teachers, provide a content specific mentoring experience, and aid all members seeking to raise the rigor and efficacy of their comprehensive agricultural education programs.

CURRICULUM FOR AGRICULTURAL SCIENCE EDUCATION (CASE)

An intensive discipline specific conference that provides a high level of educational experiences to enhance the rigor and relevance of agriculture, food, and natural resources (AFNR) subject matter. Besides elevating  knowledge and skills, CASE provides purposeful enhancement of science, mathematics, and English language understanding.
